Rochester: December 20, 2008. Predeceased by wife, Evelyn; brothers, David and Morris Silver and cousin, David Berger. Survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Margery & Joseph Wiest and Judy Silver & Donald Stevens of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Louis Silver; grandchildren, Nathaniel & Madeleine Stevens; sister-in-law, Dorothy Silver and several nieces & nephews. Graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, a supervisor at Ilex, Inc. and belonged to the Flower City Masonic Lodge. Harold was devoted to his family and was active in the Rochester International Friendship Council, serving as a host family to international students.
Funeral Services will be held 2PM on Sunday, December 21st at Parsky-Levy Memorial Chapel (New Location), 21 Lincoln Ave., Pittsford. Burial will follow at Britton Road Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations Jewish Home Foundation. Shiva will be observed at the Jewish Home of Rochester, 2021 Winton Road S., Brighton on Sunday from 5-7PM.

Dear Margy and Judy,
Mom, Paul and I are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Harold will always be remembered by us for his smile and for the wonderful way he treated Grandma Silver! We are sorry we couldn't be there with you today and that you had to contend with such bad weather. Margy, we'll get together when I return home, weather and G-d permitting!
