Gainsville, FL: January 10, 2009. Predeceased by wife, Ivy R. Phillips and great grandson, Micky Evans. Survived by son, Irving B. (Helene) Phillips of El Sobrante, CA; daughters, Bonnie (Ira) Evans of Silver Spring, MD and Karen Kneppar of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Joseph Phillips, William and Ariela Evans, Gabriel (Shoshi) Evans, Amy Evans, Aaron (Divina) Kneppar, Jennifer and Michael Kneppar. 4 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, David (Florence) Phillips, Annette Formicola, Joseph (Sarah) Phillips and Milton Phillips; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 4PM on Sunday, January 11th (TODAY) at Britton Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606. Shiva will be observed at the DoubleTree Hotel, 1111 Jefferson Road, on Sunday from 6-9 PM. Also on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 193 Daley Blvd., Irondequoit from 7-9 PM.
