Richard N. Deverian
Brighton: March 4, 2010 at age 91.
Richard was a proud graduate of Dartmouth College in 1942 and veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple B’rith Kodesh and Irondequoit Country Club, where he enjoyed golfing and numerous friendships. He and Ruth owned and operated the Deverian Oriental Rug business, which was started by his family in 1886.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ruth Spring Deverian, sister-in-law Aza Deverian (Vartan), step-son Daniel Feuerstein (Elizabeth), step-daughter Toby Peirsman (Etienne), grandchildren Richard Lipman (Mindy), Andrew Lipman (Deborah), Zachary Lipman (Valerie), Sara, Lisa, and Julie Feuerstein, and several great-grandchildren and nieces.
Richard’s memorial service will be held at a later date.
